Shipping Specialist / General Skills
· Maintain and promote Fenner Precision Polymers values and behaviors at all times.
· Follow all safety procedures including lifting techniques and limits.
· Required to report any safety incidents and/or moving violations.
· Find and print safety data sheet labels.
· Maintain a clean work environment.
· Adapt to change in the work environment to maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
· Adjust schedule to fluctuate work priorities, as needed.
· Promote departmental teamwork and inter-departmental teamwork.
· Communicate effectively with co-workers and fellow employees.
· Operate and replenish packaging equipment/machines.
· Operate basic material handling equipment I.E. Tow Motor, pallet jack, powered walkie, shrink wrapper, banding equipment, dock plates, etc.
· Use wireless tablets and scanners to pick orders.
· Pack orders according to Fenner Standards and/or based on customer specifications.
· Pack and properly secure pallets for Less Than Loaded (LTL) shipments.
· Ability to ship and void shipments in shipping software.
· Assist with cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy consistent with departmental goals.
· Pack kits as required for shipment.
· Maintain favorable attendance record.
Shipping Specialist I
· Perform all General skills.
· Properly verify picked orders and resolve discrepancies to avoid errors prior to shipment
· Print, pull, pack and ship orders, as needed.
· Process standard small parcel orders through system.
Create, and complete cycle counts.
· Operate Company tow motor/reach truck/order picker safely, ensuring seat belt adherence and daily operator checks.
· Participate in Kaizen events and 5S programs in an effort to support our world class endeavor.
Shipping Specialist II
· Perform all General and Level I skills
· Contribute to our quality system through continuous improvement and with involvement in other waste eliminating activities.
· Properly process LTL shipments i.e. generate Bill of Lading (BOL), schedule pick up(s), and close out order in system.
· Properly pack and process Hazmat shipments.
Shipping Specialist III
· Perform all General and Level I & Level II skills.
· Properly process export orders in accordance with compliance regulations.
· Train Shipping Specialists I and II in all necessary functions.
· Process ASN’s as required.
· Fill in for Shipping Coordinator as needed.

Education and/or Relative Experience: (The level of education and/or experience needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.)(Also show level of education needed for Career Progression)
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
– 2-3 years of related experience and/or training.
At least 3-5 years related experience and or/training.
