What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabric Treater- Flex Shift position at Fenner?
Basic Scope / Purpose : (The job's primary purpose or contribution to the department or organization.)
The Fabric Treater will treat all woven liners to meet both internal and external specifications and customer's expectations.
Principal Accountabilities : (The job's essential or most important functions and responsibilities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)
Level I
- Preshrink and / or heat set liners based on Treater Work Order.
- Support process to make resin and adhesive mixes according to the Mixing Work Order.
- Support treating liners according to the processing instructions on the Treating Work Order.
- Primary responsibility is back of the treat line, cleanliness maintenance, and support.
- Knowledge to validate correct resin using documented run specifications.
- Support application of correct adhesive to the back and / or face using documented run specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace using the "6S" system.
- Properly handling hazardous waste and appropriately storing items.
- Embrace change in the work environment to maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Adjust schedule to fluctuate work priorities as needed.
- Considers the safety of self and others while performing job responsibilities and understands Supervisor must be notified of unsafe conditions.
- Strive to maintain a positive work environment.
- Other duties may be assigned.

o High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and / or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Minimum of ONE year in position and ability to display competency in the associated designations in the description.
o Minimum of FOUR years in the position and evidence of strong leadership capabilities and process knowledge.
