What are the responsibilities and job description for the Policy Advisor position at Fenton Corporation?
What You Will Do :
As a Policy Advisor within our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, supporting, and executing our public policy and advocacy strategy. Your ability to build relationships, inspire others, and lead outcomes will be key as you work alongside our Land Planning and Entitlements Manager (LPEM) and the VP of Development to influence policy and regulatory efforts and achieving project approvals. This role requires strong initiative and the ability to work independently while achieving results through effective collaboration with others.
- Public Affairs and Policy Advocacy : You'll develop and maintain a network of policy leaders to stay informed on emerging trends and policies that could impact our company's assets. Your strategic recommendations will guide our Internal Public Affairs Committee and influence key stakeholders to advance our company's objectives.
- Project Management and Support : You'll lead zoning and regulatory analysis, coordinate entitlement processes, and work with internal and external teams to ensure successful and timely project approvals. Your proactive approach will help navigate complex regulations, maintain project momentum, and overcome obstacles.
- Influence and Collaborate : Your work will involve motivating others to embrace change and guiding the team through regulatory and political challenges. By fostering relationships, you'll ensure that our policy efforts align with our growth objectives in key markets, including San Diego, Austin, and Dallas..

Compensation : The total compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000 (inclusive of an annual bonus). Base pay may vary based on the candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience.
