Responsibilities
- Review and process medical claims submitted by healthcare providers.
- Verify patient information and ensure all necessary documentation is included.
- You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient claim processing, mastering more complex transaction types, and becoming the subject matter expert (SME) for all claims-related questions
- Your ability to adapt quickly to new systems and procedures will be essential in this fast-paced environment-
- Process dental insurance claims accurately and efficiently, including handling more complex and specialized claim types using proprietary software systems
- Collaborate with dental offices to resolve discrepancies in claims.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical billing practices and regulations.
- Perform audits on processed claims for accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with insurance companies regarding claim status and issues.
- Assist in the collection of outstanding claims as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical records management and terminology is essential.
- Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and collection processes is highly desirable.
- Experience working with Dentrix systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
