We are currently hiring for 1st Shift and have open positions for:
Packing Line
Forklift and Overhead Crane experience is a plus!
Must be willing and able to work in a hot warehouse environment
Responsibilities:
Package materials according to Shop Order instructions and Packaging Profile
Maintain inventory of supplies such as banding, seals, edge protectors, paper separators, and skids
Skid material and generate computer-assisted setup
Select and set up proper knives for slitter head and lay out tooling
Assist operators/helpers and check shipping paperwork
Load/unload coils onto flatbed trucks and railcars using a forklift and overhead crane
Ensure proper placement of coils in the warehouse
Inspect and measure materials using required tools for production and shipping
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager
Must be able to walk, stand, and bend throughout the shift
Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and teamwork mentality
Prioritize safety at all times
Experience Required:
- 1-3 years of experience working in a hot warehouse environment
