Ferguson has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Business Finance Analyst. This role will provide data driven analysis and support the Finance organization and Executive leadership throughout the organization.
Location:
This is a Hybrid role based out of our Corporate Offices in Newport News, VA location, in accordance with the Ferguson Flex schedule; 3 days office / 2 days remote.
Responsibilities:
- Build in-depth analytics to challenge and support business decisions.
- Understand and communicate Business trends, seasonal factors, benchmarking and correlational analysis to identify areas for performance improvement.
- Develop, refine, and deliver ad hoc analysis, financial models, and business cases to support a rapidly changing business environment.
- Prepare and deliver reporting to senior leadership and collaborate with departments outside of finance.
- Support budgeting and forecasting for the business for various customer groups and locations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or pending degree) in Data Analytics, Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
- Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft O365 (especially Excel).
- Microsoft Power BI experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills, and comfortable combining multiple data sources.
- Effective and professional communicator comfortable presenting to all levels of leadership.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple high priority projects with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a team environment of hard-working colleagues.
- Effectively self-manage schedule, work location (home/office/remote) and competing priorities from multiple internal customers/projects.

Pay Range:
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
