Overview:
Responsible for the complete space planning and move management processes for the Ferguson HQ.
The Facilities Space Planner assists with all aspects of the property's daily operations including interior furnishings, finishes, and fixtures, installations, associate moves and relocations, and supporting day-to-day requests.
Location:
This role is based out of Ferguson's corporate offices in Newport News, VA.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a subject matter expert in a specialized area of Facilities Management, providing guidance and expertise to enhance operational efficiency.
Prepare and deliver consolidated reports, including key metrics and periodic reviews of all facility activities, to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with corporate goals.
Partner with internal business and functional leaders to develop occupancy forecasts and space requirements. Ensure floor plans and seat assignments are accurate by conducting routine space audits.
Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive initiatives that enhance real estate and facilities operations.
Utilize existing facilities management software to track, schedule and plan all associate moves within Ferguson HQ (ServiceNow and Wisp by Apex42).
Ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of facility services, including maintenance, operational support, safety, and compliance.
Create layouts and markups in AutoCAD to meet customer requirements as needed and ensuring code compliance.
Maintain strict adherence to company compliance standards, as well as Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
Identify and implement best practices for cost reduction, operational improvement, and long-term facility planning.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
4-8 years’ relevant experience preferably within Real Estate and Facilities at a corporate level.
Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, business management, technical facilities, or a similar field preferred.
Strong skills in Communication, Organizing, Group Problem Solving, Teamwork, Relationship Building, Time Management and Communication both written and verbally.
Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, internal and external, including the Executive Leadership Team, and act as a strategic advisor.
Perform with a strong sense of urgency, with high expectations, around driving costs from the company P&L and best preparing Ferguson for future growth.
Ability to prioritize and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range:
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
