This location sells HVAC and Plumbing products.This position leads local operations of this location which includes a counter, warehouse and driver. The successful candidate will establish relationships with local customers to grow sales of HVAC and Plumbing sales.Position Details Reports to Jon Hanson (General Manager)Direct oversight of 4 associatesResponsibilities Be the "mayor of the market" focused on growing sales and customer relationships, developing associates, delivering excellent service, and taking pride in running a clean, safe facility.Market Ownership – be the Best Local Supply House!Deliver and collaborate to reach sales goals in line with budget expectationsRelentless passion to deliver the best counter experienceProvide leadership for the organization’s customer-facing associates and branch functionsDevelop a team with focus on customer service, policy and strategy implementationRun the overall operation of a branch location including hiring, coaching, and scheduling of employees to ensure efficient and quality branch operationsMaintain inventories at adequate levels, promote sales, and maintain the appearance of the branchBuild and maintain an environment of engagement by listening to feedback from leaders, associates, and customers and implementing solutions to solve problemsAnalyze store data and identify areas of opportunity, and implement solutions to continuously improve the overall performance of the locationPerform all work in accordance with established safety standards and adhere to all safety policies, rules, regulations and proceduresQualifications 3 years leadership / management experience is preferredPrior industry experience is strongly preferredAbility to lead and empower individuals and teamsAbility to organize, prioritize, multi-task and effectively lead through stressful situationsProven track record to use data and metrics to implement effective solutionsDemonstrated success in problem solving and delivering resultsStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)At Ferguson, we care for each other.
