About This Opportunity
Ferguson is seeking a proven Fire & Fabrication Outside Sales Representative to capitalize on growing market opportunities.
This field-based sales role supports customers in the Sacramento, CA, and Reno, NV area.
A fuel card, auto allowance, travel and expense card, company cell phone, and laptop will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and assigned customers, working with branch associates to ensure satisfaction with products and services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base, collaborating with management to develop sales strategies and target new accounts.
- Perform duties including product quotation, problem resolution, analyzing competition, devising sales strategies, and communicating strategy to management.
- Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image.
Qualifications
- 2 years of industry outside sales experience required
- 5 years of Fire protection industry experience required
- A results-oriented associate with self-motivation, excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving, leadership, and listening skills are essential.
- General digital literacy and ability to learn quickly.

Ferguson complies with all wage regulations and offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
