JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE : To perform on and off-season duties for the athletic program as assigned by the Athletic Director.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must possess a teaching certificate or a substitute-teaching certificate (60 or more college hours).

Size and order uniforms and equipment.Distribute uniforms .Plan, organize and coach summer practicesPlan and receive administrative approval for several fundraisers to defray the athlete's costs.Manage and distribute sports schedules..Complete MSHSAA on line rules review and NFHS concussion training.Provide first aid for students; maintain emergency procedures.RecruitTryouts
Post information at high schools, middle schools, local parochial and private schools.Hold informational meetings for parents and participants.Keep track of applications, teacher recommendations, physical cards, proof of insurance and attendance for all applicants.Set up and manage tryouts.Season
Follows all state, league, federation, building and District guidelines, procedures, and policies.Hold parent meetingsOrder buses for the different activitiesInsure all in and out of district travel forms are complete.Distribute uniforms and keep documentation by inventory or fine cards.Manage, supervise and attend all practices.Complete, maintain and insure compliance with all MSHSAA eligibility rosters starting 5 days prior to the first eligible contest.Complete, maintain and insure compliance with all MSHSAA eligibility rosters.Attend all assigned games home and away including post season.Organize additional fundraisers throughout theDevelop routines for assigned sports assemblies.Develop materials and attend pep rally.Organize and participate in all Homecoming activities. (Fall Sports)Maintain activities that promote school spirit.Keep accurate records throughout the season including attendance and athlete's grades.Stats must be current, up to date and reported within two days after contest to STL Prep Sports.Manage and discipline all athletes throughout the year. Collect, wash, repair and store uniforms.Complete inventory report and submit it within two weeks of the end of the season.Submit fine cards to the Athletic Director's Office Professional.Assist with hosting an event to distribute letters and awards.Assess and evaluate the year and plan improvements for the next year.Attend Post Athletic Evaluation meeting with the Head Coach.Athletic contracts are seasonal.
Fall contracts are to be paid one time on approximately November 10,
Winter contracts are to be paid one time on approximately February 10,
Spring contracts are to be paid one time on approximately May 10
Safe Schools Videos assigned by the District plus
Concussion, CPR, AED and First Aid certification videos to satisfy requirements for MSHSAA
Timesheets if worksheet identifies it as needed
