Facilities Maintenance Associate

Ferguson’s House of Furniture is looking for a dependable and hardworking Facilities & Maintenance Associate to support the upkeep and presentation of our brand-new Boardman showroom. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly.

**Responsibilities:**

**Interior Cleaning & Maintenance**

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break areas, and showroom floors

- Take out trash and restock supplies regularly

- Perform light maintenance and minor repairs as needed

**Furniture Assembly & Handling**

- Receive deliveries and unpack merchandise

- Assemble furniture pieces and assist with showroom setup

- Move and stage furniture as displays change

- Help with loading furniture for customer pickups as needed

**Outdoor Groundskeeping**

- Mow grass, maintain landscaping, and remove litter from exterior areas

- Plow snow, shovel walkways, and apply salt during winter months

- Maintain building exterior, including lighting and signage

**Qualifications:**

- Experience in general maintenance, groundskeeping, or related field preferred

- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day

- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

- Dependable and punctual

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

**Schedule:**

- Full-time, 5 days/week

- Includes some weekends and flexibility during seasonal needs (snow removal, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
