What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Manager-Transportation position at Fermented Food Holdings (FFH)?
FFH is seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Manager - Transportation to join our team on site in Madison, WI. The ideal candidate will focus on our freight and transportation programs. as well as continuous monitoring and optimization of transportation routes, enhance efficiency and reduce costs while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Accountable For :
- Tracking shipments moving at end of month to help reach company revenue goals
- Working with Customer Ops to get Customer updates on CPUs from Forward Warehouses
- Working to make sure all customs documents are filled out and accurate for customer orders as required.
- Helping align co-manufacturers and Ocean Providers are aligned for timely pickups for overseas shipments
- KPI tracking.
- Develop and maintain tracking mechanisms to support the overall logistics operations and ultimately meet business needs.
