Job Description:
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure the efficient production of goods. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Setting up and adjusting machines according to specifications and production requirements.
- Monitoring machine operations to ensure smooth functioning and detect any malfunctions or abnormalities.
- Loading raw materials into machines and unloading finished products as necessary.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machinery, to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and making minor repairs as needed.
- Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Recording production data, including machine settings, output quantities, and downtime, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with other team members, including supervisors, technicians, and quality control inspectors, to achieve production targets and maintain quality standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with a variety of machinery and tools, including Lock out Tag Out.
- Attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly and effectively in fast-paced situations.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
