Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Mixologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for crafting exceptional cocktails and a deep understanding of beverage service. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for creating innovative drink recipes, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer questions about the drink menu.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using cash registers and Aloha POS systems.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and conduct regular stock checks.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate beverage service during banquets and catering events.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving food and beverages.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and cocktail techniques to enhance the drink menu.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred; experience as a Mixologist is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in cash handling, retail math, and operating cash registers.
- Strong knowledge of brewing techniques, cocktail recipes, and food service standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurement of ingredients and handling transactions.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexible schedule availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
