What You’ll Do

- Oversee payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- File taxes, maintain compliance, and optimize financial strategies.
- Develop, analyze, and advise on budgets that drive impactful programs.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to enhance financial policies and strategic decision-making.
- Manage grant budgets and explore new funding opportunities.
- Provide guidance on financial sustainability, ensuring responsible fiscal management.
You’ll lead and support a Billing Specialist I and a Finance Assistant, ensuring financial operations run smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience:
- Minimum: Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field 1-3 years of financial experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, especially with experience in a mental health agency.
- Strong ethical decision-making and professional boundaries
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently
- Proficiency in basic accounting software (or willingness to learn)
- Willingness to collaborate with leadership and drive financial improvements
- Flexible Work Hours: Generally between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Travel: Some travel between Fernbrook offices required (reliable transportation needed)
