What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at FernLeaf Community Charter School?
Lower School Administrative Assistant
FernLeaf’s Administrative Assistant is the face of the Lower School and the glue that holds it all together at our Creek Campus! This position conceivably has more variety in responsibilities than any other role in the school and requires an ability to connect with and build relationships with students, families, school staff, and the wider community. If you’re into getting pulled in a million different directions, putting up with the shenanigans of school leaders, teachers, students, and parents, engaging in high level administrative functions while answering the phone, applying bandages, and tending to bloody noses simultaneously, then this is the gig for you! In addition to a Bachelor’s Degree and administrative experience, qualifications for this important position include: strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills; an ability to multitask; and the ability to remain focused and detail oriented in the face of distractions. Not to mention a love for children and a willingness to do anything and everything to make FernLeaf a great place! A current North Carolina CDL Class B License with P and S endorsements or willingness to obtain is preferred.
