What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Shipper position at Ferno-Washington, Inc?
Summary
Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Reads pick list to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Uses Radio Frequency Readers (RF reader) to relieve inventory, record serial numbers and invoice items picked.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
- Loads materials into vehicles and secures cargo as appropriate to prevent damage.
- Moves load to appropriate transportation vehicle.
- Verifies and documents appropriate shipping information as required and attaches safety and other required labels.
- Assembles crates to contain bulk-pack products.
- Prepare shipments for air and ocean transportation.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- And/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Must be willing and available to work overtime and Saturdays as scheduled.
