Job Role: Project Manager (Gas Utility Projects)
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team, specialising in gas utility projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing infrastructure projects, ideally with a Tier 1 contractor background. This role requires expertise in using project management tools, including Microsoft Office and ASITE for documentation, scheduling, and project tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing mainly Civil infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets, making adjustments as necessary.
- Assisting with producing and reviewing RAMS
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams, P6 planners, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Utilise MS Office and ASITE for tracking project progress, maintaining documentation, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and client expectations.
- Manage project risks, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in project processes.
- Proven experience in project management within the gas utility sector.
- Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor is essential.
- Experience in the NG world, experience in gas/COMAH terminals is desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ASITE or similar project management tools.
- Experience of working with NEC contracts
- Able to read and interpret project drawings
- Experience managing temporary works
- Experience with mechanical engineering (cutting, welding, cathodic protection)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a highly secure and fast-paced environment.
