What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Planner position at Fernway Procurement LLC?
The Demand Planner’s primary responsibilities will involve establishing production plans, supporting the Operations team, ensuring all necessary components are on site for production, and analyzing various data sets. This will require maintenance of demand planning models, as well as coordination with various teams internally.
Location: Remote with a preference for candidates located near one of our facilities:

Primary Responsibilities:
- Optimize data to present to stakeholders for decision making
- Assist additional departments and facilitate conversations between sales, inventory and production
- Utilize Fernway’s MRP System
- Analyze daily reporting and make recommendations to Supply Chain Team
- Facilitate Fernway’s production planning process.
- Enter data into relevant systems – ERP, Google Sheets, and PowerBI
- Coordinate with finance and production teams for sourcing needs
- Manage the production calendar to ensure we maintain enough raw materials to support revenue growth and to ensure no stock out days
- Ensure all supplies are on site for any necessary production
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Excitement at the prospect of supporting the growth of an early stage start up
- A high degree of integrity and ethical conduct always
- 1-2 years of procurement or supply chain experience required
- Must have strong attention to details
- Strong communication, analytical, and Excel skills required
- Strong Google Suite, SQL, and ERP database skills preferred
