What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Warehouse Analyst position at Ferrara Candy Company?
Primary Purpose
The Warehouse Analyst will work in Operations related to Supply Chain, Vendor Management and Supply Planning. This analyst will have exposure to senior leadership in meetings and will be responsible for working directly with the 3PL.
Major Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Facilitate meetings including: creating agenda, preparing PowerPoint slides, updating Excel documents, taking notes and following up
- Monitor material scrap orders
- Review and submit invoices from 3PL and vendors
- Create and manage vendors in SAP (On the job training (OJT) for this action)
- Approve/Deny carrier storage and detention requests
- PECO and CHEP pallets portal management
- Perform ad hoc work in SAP (OJT for this action, minimal complexity)
- Improve data quality by participating in data clean-up activities
- Create and distribute essential Operations reporting using SAP/Business Objects/Excel/Tableau
- Capable of performing tasks remotely
- Monitor the loading and unloading of shipments
- Ability to work inter-departmentally, or with other locations to resolve discrepancies between inventory and revenue
- Review data quality by participating in data cleanup activities including the review of aged PO’s from multiple sources
- Communicate & coordinate all deliveries for both Inbound & Outbound shipments
- Ability to work overtime, travel to other outside locations and work occasional weekends
- Assist in developing processes, procedures, and support training to ensure inventory and ERP programs are consistent with both Ferrara and our external warehouses
- Approve/Deny carrier storage & detention request
- Audit Bills/Invoices as requested
Education and Experience
§ Associate degree (preferred not required) in supply chain, business, or related field
§ 3 to 5 years in warehouse operations/accounts payable
§ Analytical mindset – ability to manipulate and analyze data to provide insights
- Microsoft Excel (knowledge of VLOOKUP and pivot tables are a plus)
- Proficient using MS Office
- Familiar with MS Teams and Zoom
- Microsoft PowerPoint – able to put together basic presentations
- SAP experience preferred
- Tableau experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to follow & execute multiple e-mail communications
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must have strong attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
