What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Ferrara Family Dentistry?
Ferrara Family Dentistry is looking for an experienced, patient focused, detail oriented Dental Office Front Desk Receptionist. Current opening is for a permanent, full-time position. We are a non-corporate, general dental practice focused intently on providing exceptional patient care through a great patient experience. We provide a wide range of dental services including cosmetic, implants, restorative, and reconstructive dentistry.
This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with patients and teammates. It also requires excellent time management and organizational skills. This position will be required to uphold our standards around patient experience and always insure the highest level of customer service. Applicant must have a strong work ethic as well as an outgoing personality and positive attitude. Work experience in a general dental office preferred. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
- Answer phones
- Confirm appointments
- Schedule patient appointments
- Monitor the master production schedule
- Proactively work to fill hygiene and operative appointment openings
- Check-in patients when they arrive
- Check-out patients when appointments are complete
- Collect payments from patients
- Manage the recall and reactivation systems
- Perform other front office functions
- Establish and maintain relationships with all patients
