Job Summary:
Ferrari Express Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Clerk to join our team. This critical role ensures the smooth and efficient flow of high-value merchandise throughout our supply chain. The Logistics Clerk will coordinate and manage various logistics functions, including operations management, warehouse management, dispatching, and inventory control. This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and sign for deliveries to the warehouse, verifying quantities and condition.
- Assist in unloading and organizing incoming supplies, ensuring proper storage and rotation.
- Maintain organized inventory within the warehouse, optimizing space utilization and accessibility.
- Track and manage all store and company inventory, maintaining accuracy and integrity through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Utilize computerized inventory software (e.g., [mention specific software if applicable]) to maintain meticulous records of all products and supplies.
- Reconcile sales records with physical inventory to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Oversee the processing of customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment, including picking, packing, and labeling.
- Review all shipping labels and packaging to ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA).
- Report any problems, issues, or discrepancies to the Logistics Manager immediately.
- Monitor and track shipments using tracking systems and communicate with carriers to ensure timely and secure delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, customer service) to ensure accurate forecasting and planning.
- Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and organizing inventory, adhering to established safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions, ensuring compliance with record-keeping requirements.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments or inventory efficiently and professionally.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement within logistics operations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience (1 years) in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management required.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and procedures.
- Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and carriers.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive pay commensurate with experience ($16.00 - $18.00 per hour).
- Full-time position (40 hours per week).

- Flexible scheduling options available, including 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts.
