Massage Therapist/ Chiropractic Assistant

Our state-of-the-art facility integrates physical therapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and performance training.

As Massage Therapist, you will:

• Perform therapeutic massage within allotted time service
• Perform and complete all functions and documentation associated with an individualized assessment in order to fully develop a personalized plan of care for each client
• Administer modalities, such as infrared lamps, deep tissue laser, shockwave and other in-house devices to promote recovery, relaxation and well-being
• Confer with clients about their medical histories and problems with stress or pain to determine how massage will be most helpful
• Consult with other internal health care professionals, such as physical/ occupational therapists, chiropractors and acupuncturists to possibly refer to other disciplines when medical necessary
• Work directly with chiropractors in their case load and documentation

We are seeking candidates who:

• Currently hold an active license in the state of New Jersey
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, energetic medical office environment
• Friendly, empathetic, enthusiastic and positive team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills and etiquette
• Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented person who is accountable for taking in new information and processing it accordingly
• Confident communicator and effective listener who can interact with patients and provide exceptional customer service
• Have a working knowledge of health insurance and the pre-certification process
