Job description
We are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNPs) with a focus on pulmonary and acute care to join our dynamic team.
This is a permanent full time contractor position working in a long term care facility, servicing between 20-40 clients per day. For each client "note", you will be paid $25 and you will have Scribe to assist with notes. Other benefits apply, like malpractice insurance and continuing education. The location of work will be in a skilled nursing facility. The pay will range from $500-$1000 per day, depending upon your work load. Must be available for at least 5 days/wk.
Pulmonary and Acute Care ARNP for Post-Acute Care**
This full-time role involves the management of pulmonary and acute care conditions in post-acute care settings, providing hands-on clinical care, and working closely with experienced pulmonologists to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. The position is open to both experienced ARNPs and those new to the field, with tailored support and training programs available for each tier. Responsibilities:
- Assess & Manage Pulmonary Conditions: Evaluate and manage both acute and chronic
pulmonary conditions in patients residing in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), with a focus ondelivering personalized, high-quality care. YOU WOULD GO TO THE SAME PLACE EACH WEEK.
- Advanced Pulmonary Assessments: Perform advanced pulmonary assessments, including spirometry, arterial blood gas analysis, and other diagnostic tests to help guide treatment plans.
- Collaboration with Pulmonologists: Work directly with board-certified pulmonologists to develop evidence-based care plans that optimize clinical outcomes and improve patient quality of life.
- Education & Training: Educate and train SNF staff on the latest best practices in pulmonary care, disease prevention, and management of respiratory conditions, fostering an environment of continuous improvement in patient care.
- Timely Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all patient interactions and care plans, ensuring timely submission within 24 hours to meet regulatory and organizational standards.
- Hospital Readmission Reduction: Contribute to institutional programs designed to reduce hospital readmissions related to respiratory conditions, improving patient outcomes and care continuity.
- Continuous Learning & Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education to stay current on advancements in pulmonary medicine, including new diagnostic techniques, treatment protocols, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Active ARNP License in Florida.
- Availability: 5-7 days week/weekend
- Experience in Pulmonary and Acute Care (preferred but not required): Experience working with pulmonary patients in either acute or post-acute settings is an advantage, though entry-level candidates with a passion for pulmonary medicine are also encouraged to apply.

Compensation:
You will be paid $25/per note. We provide you with a Scribe for assistance with your documentation. This position pays $150-$220K /annually.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong medical background and a passion for delivering quality and comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. Must be cognizant of, and comply with, all Center policies and procedures, as well as pertinent state and federal regulations.
APRN must provide the full scope of pulmonary care services at nursing homes and long term care facilities, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance of their patients. The company provides Nurse- Practitioners to Skilled Nursing homes in Florida to work with the facilities nursing team to improve quality care and reduce re-hospitalizations.
