Ferreras Counseling & Wellness Center is a growing mental health clinic looking to hire more talented, dedicated and ethical fulltime clinician, LADC I, II to join our team in Lawrence, MA.
Qualifications:
- Experience or degree on treating dual diagnosis clients is a plus
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with EHR programs and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PDF)
- LCSW/ LICSW, LMHC, or LADC I, II license in Massachusetts preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as being highly self-directed
- Knowledge of the 12 Step Recovery Program
- Sense of humor and flexibility needed
- Self-motivated, a self-starter, and desire to learn Initial
- Knowledge of Federal, State and Municipal laws and/or regulations that regulate the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction, including: 42 CFR Part 2 Confidentiality HIPAA, Patient Rights, Professional Code of Ethics, Discrimination, Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and assumption of responsibilities not delineated in the job description which are related to work as a member of an addiction treatment team
Position Responsibilities:
· Be the point person regarding clinical/cases management concerns as it relates to patient care.
· Clinician will provide individuals with support, understanding, empathy, education, treatment plans, groups, individualized care, and manage the case management aspect of the cases assigned under the direction of the Program Director and Clinical Supervisor
· Completes all paperwork pertaining to patient, including but not limited to Bio-psychosocial, Treatment plan, case management needs assessment, Assessments, notes, follow-ups and outreach in a concise timely manner
· Assures Compliance with expectations of attendance at trainings
· Attends all clinical meetings
· Enforces program rules and expectations and reports infractions to Program Director or Director of Clinical Services Monitors patient conformance with program schedule, reports problems and informs supervisor
· Develop and run groups as assigned based on relapse prevention, recovery, coping skills, independent living, process groups and other topics that will help those in recovery gain the skills and knowledge for a life in recovery
· Maintains the confidentiality of all patient and facility activities
· Create and maintain open and effective lines of communication to meet contract standards and promote the mission of Ferreras Counseling and Wellness center.
· Perform other similar duties as assigned by the Clinic Director
Interviews will be conducted over the phone and/or Zoom.
