About the Role:
Responsible for appropriate scheduling of personnel according to production schedules, collective bargaining agreements, and company needs. Includes the layoff and recall (bumping) of bargaining unit employees consistent with the labor Contract and the applicable Letters of Agreement. Ensure optimal scheduling of short-term production & materials for Franklin Park to meet the volumes coordinated with re-mote planner. This position is a combination of Workforce, local production and materials planning.
Main Responsibilities:
The base salary range for this position is $70,000-$73,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and communicate weekly personnel schedule based on production schedule, bargaining unit contract and letters of understanding and in accordance with applicable timelines
- Making future manpower forecast according to the long-term production plan
- Work closely with Hourly Associates, Factory Management Team, Human Resources, and other stakeholder groups to coordinate all personnel scheduling issues and applicable resolution
- Evaluate current staffing against future staffing needs and make recommendations to key stakeholders on alternative ways to fulfill staffing requirements
- Manage any changes to the production schedule as a result of unforeseen circumstances and make decisions to ensure the optimization of production resources and business requirements
- Review the plans feasibility based on the line capacity, manpower and shift standards
- Enter the plans into the information system (SAP/APO/ECC) which will determine, based on production models, the required production factors, i.e., raw materials, packaging etc.
- Lead/participate in production meetings and review which lines to run and overtime requirements
- Daily/Weekly analysis of the attainment and PPA to determine reasons for production variances and changes
- Ensure materials are ordered and supplied on time to meet production needs
- Associate's degree and previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Ultimate Software, SAP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills/excellence with numbers
- Commitment to change using a Continuous Improvement approach
- Strong leadership and communication skills in a Team environment
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining strong sense of urgency and focus on service
