About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our production facility. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all production equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, supporting our commitment to quality, efficiency, and safety. Main Responsibilities:

  • Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage the maintenance budget, including proposal preparation, variance analysis, and updates. Collaborate in production planning by providing necessary data to align maintenance activities with production cycles.
  • Production Support: Ensure all production equipment operates optimally to meet production schedules within established timelines, efficiency parameters, and quality standards.
  • Maintenance Operations: Establish and oversee a preventive maintenance program for production facilities and manufacturing/packaging lines. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production lines and machinery, ensuring effective corrective maintenance interventions.
  • Spare Parts Management: Manage the spare parts storeroom in compliance with GROS-GS020 standards. Oversee the disposal of obsolete or damaged equipment and spare parts, ensure legal inspections of measuring instruments and tools, analyze KPIs to improve cost and service levels, and collaborate with Purchasing to expedite deliveries and resolve supplier disputes.
  • Planning & Capital Investments: Lead initiatives for new constructions, production line modifications, and the introduction of new production lines in collaboration with the Engineering Manager and other stakeholders. Prepare project documentation, cost estimates, and facilitate the authorization process.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate internal and external personnel involved in investment projects, ensuring completion aligns with quality, time, and budget specifications.
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Provide necessary protective measures, training, and information to personnel, and collaborate in investigating accidents and implementing corrective actions.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Mechanical/Utilities/Electrical Manager and Mechanical Supervisor. Develop personnel management systems that align with company values, focusing on motivation and competency development to enhance departmental performance.
  • Quality and Food Safety: Ensure adherence to quality and food safety standards, implementing and maintaining all program requirements.
  • Environmental: Assist in implementing the Environmental Management System within key process areas, promoting sustainable practices.

Who we are looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing or production environment, with a proven track record of supervising maintenance teams and managing budgets.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of machinery, tools, and maintenance procedures. Familiarity with maintenance management systems and proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency optimization.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to maintenance operations.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.

Compensation Data

The base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $170,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
