HR & Payroll Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify and enter employee payroll hours into the payroll system on a weekly and bi-weekly basis.
- Process and distribute all required union reports on a weekly and monthly basis, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Serve as a point of contact for union-related reporting requests and provide appropriate documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather data and documentation required for billing, payroll, and compliance purposes.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including onboarding, enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Support basic HR functions such as maintaining employee records, preparing new hire documentation, and assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and general HR policies in a timely and professional manner.
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements related to payroll and human resources.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as needed, such as audits, training support, or employee engagement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support payroll, HR, and general business operations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and accounting principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems is a plus.
Salary : $45,000 - $48,000
