Ferretti Search is retained with a leading manufacturer in metals manufacturing to find a hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to drive process improvements, optimize efficiency, and enhance production capabilities in a fast-growing environment.
Location: Seymour, CT (On-Site)
Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 Base Salary Bonus. There is some potential for upward flexibility available, dependent upon experience.
Benefits: Day-One Health / Vision / Dental. Month two - 401(k) [4% dollar for dollar match], and Unlimited PTO.
Schedule: Full-Time, 100% On-Site

What will your day look like?
- Process Engineering & Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in workflow, throughput, and efficiency across the production floor.
- Technical Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges related to CNC machining and precision components.
- Equipment & Capital Projects: Evaluate plant layout, recommend new equipment, and optimize existing high-precision manufacturing processes.
- Lean & 5S Initiatives: Lead process improvement projects, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, engineering, and quality teams to improve overall manufacturing performance.
Who are you?
- Experienced Manufacturing Engineer: 3 years of experience, ideally in a manufacturing or metals-based environment.
- Technical Expert: Strong background in project management, root-cause analysis, process engineering, and lean manufacturing. (Ideally in metals/precision machining)
- Process-Driven Problem Solver: Skilled in workflow analysis, continuous improvement, and equipment utilization.
- Analytical & Hands-On: Comfortable being on the floor troubleshooting processes while also analyzing and designing solutions.
- CAD/CAM Knowledge: Experience with CAD/CAM software and a strong mechanical engineering foundation.
