We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Scheduler/Planner to join our dynamic team. As a leader in the metal manufacturing sector, we are looking for a professional with proven expertise in production scheduling, planning, and supply chain coordination.
What Will You Do Day-to-Day?
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, aligning with customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacities.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure alignment of schedules with business objectives.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to address delays, equipment failures, or other disruptions.
- Analyze and report on production performance, identifying opportunities for improvement in efficiency and resource utilization.
- Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and warehouse teams to ensure raw materials and components are available when needed.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing excess inventory and stockouts.
- Identify potential bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions to mitigate delays.
- Coordinate material availability with procurement and inventory teams to prevent production delays.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the scheduling process.
- Communicate schedule updates and changes to relevant stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency.
Who Are You?
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production scheduling, preferably within the metal manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of production scheduling software and ERP systems.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices is a plus.
