Job Title : Production Supervisor
Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead a team within our 50,000 sqft manufacturing facility. This role is crucial to driving operational excellence and enhancing the overall performance of the team through effective leadership and a commitment to continuous improvement. The position is open due to restructuring, with a focus on strengthening quality leadership within the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage a team of 14-18 direct reports, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently. Delegate tasks and provide direction to ensure optimal workflow.
- Oversee the team's schedule, ensuring punctuality and consistent attendance, while managing downtime and ensuring production uptime.
- Lead by example in a hands-on capacity, actively participating in production processes to motivate and drive team performance.
- D Address performance issues as needed with a fair and consistent approach to discipline, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Inspire your team through strong leadership, fostering accountability and a culture of high performance.
- Track key production metrics using spreadsheets and other data entry systems, reporting results and improvements to the Plant Manager.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques and Kaizen principles to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve workflow.
