What will your day look like?
EHS Program Management : Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant agencies.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation : Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to reduce workplace hazards and ensure employee safety.
Training & Development : Lead training programs to promote awareness and adherence to safety and environmental practices.
Incident Management : Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Sustainability Initiatives : Collaborate with leadership to drive sustainability efforts and reduce the company’s environmental footprint.
Metrics & Reporting : Track and report EHS performance metrics to leadership, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
Who are you?
EHS Expert : 5 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Regulatory Knowledge : Deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations and standards.
Proactive Leader : Demonstrated ability to lead change, influence culture, and engage employees at all levels in safety practices.
Technical Proficiency : Strong analytical skills and familiarity with EHS management systems and reporting tools.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field. Certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are highly desirable.
Problem-Solver : Adept at identifying risks and implementing effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong Communicator : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
