As a Route Sales Representative at Ferris Coffee & Nut Company, you will be responsible for delivering our high-quality products to coffee shops, supermarkets, and suppliers across your designated route. You will represent Ferris with professionalism, ensuring timely deliveries and fostering strong customer relationships. This role requires a customer-focused mindset, flexibility, and the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team.

IN A NUTSHELL

  • Product Delivery: Deliver Ferris products to customers in a timely, accurate, and safe manner, ensuring orders are correct and resolving discrepancies on-site.
  • Customer Service and Satisfaction: Build and nurture positive customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, and educate customers about Ferris products and promotions.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Keep detailed records of deliveries, maintain accurate mileage logs, and ensure company vehicles are well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Food Service Equipment Support: Provide troubleshooting and support for Ferris equipment, collaborating with third-party service providers as needed.

PERFECT INGREDIENTS FOR SUCCESS

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Class B CDL (preferred) for safe and reliable delivery operations.
  • Clean driving record and at least 2 years of delivery service experience, with a background in customer service or sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships with customers and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to manage delivery schedules, handle multiple tasks, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Proficiency with computers and common office software to track delivery records and quality metrics.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing needs.
