Advertised Salary : $67,500 to 70,000 - Salary commensurate with education, experiences and other requirements. Comprehensive benefit package (health care, vacation, etc.) FLSA : Exempt Temporary / Continuing : Continuing Part-Time / Full-Time : Full-Time Union Group : Ferris Faculty Association (MEA-NEA) Term of Position : 9 Month At Will / Just Cause : Just Cause Summary of Position : The English, Literature and World Languages department seeks applicants for an Assistant Professor of Developmental English to teach face-to-face and online courses in developmental writing as well as additional writing, literature, and / or language courses appropriate to qualifications.
Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment
Candidates with additional expertise in any of the following areas are especially encouraged to apply : children's or young adult literature; English Language Arts (K-12) education; rhetorical genre studies; Spanish language.
