Summary of Position :
- Ferris State University's Department of Humanities seeks applications for an Assistant Professor in Philosophy and Religious Studies.
- The selected candidate will teach a variety of courses in Religious Studies, Philosophy and Ethics. Other teaching assignments in the Department's "Humanities Area," will be based upon the candidate's teaching credentials, which may include; African American Studies, Humanities Studies, Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies, and / or other closely related fields.
- Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses or online. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment.
- The start date for this position is August 2025.
