Summary of Position:
The Student Assistant for the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning (FCTL) has responsibility for general office duties and assists the FCTL staff in their work. The position is open to students with or without Work Study funds.
Position Requirements:
Applicants should:
Have knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel
Be willing to learn new skills (e.g., using QuestionPro; effective online literature searching; written communication).
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
The FCTL Student Assistant's duties include:
Checking, forwarding, and/or responding professionally to inquiries and/or email, phone calls, and voicemail messages
Sending University-Wide Notices, mass emails, and Outlook calendar invitations
Filing, printing, scanning, and photocopying documents
Entering and summarizing data
Assisting patrons and FCTL staff
Conducting online literature searches
Using Microsoft Office/Office 365 programs
Completing other general office duties and tasks
