What you will do :

Ferroglobe is seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial electrical systems, including the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role requires flexibility to work various shifts in our 24 / 7 operation, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our plant.

• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, prints, and diagrams to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
• Work with PLCs, VFDs, motor control circuits, transducers, and transformers.
• Manage and maintain medium and high voltage equipment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Utilize basic troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical problems in a timely manner.
• maintain overhead cranes as needed.
• Climb multiple flights of stairs and ladders to access equipment and perform necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with other maintenance and operations personnel to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety regulations and guidelines.
