Job Description :
- Proficient in understanding job hazard analyses, developing safety presentations, analyzing data to identify trends, and implementing loss prevention programs.
- Conduct daily audits of the project spaces to verify safety compliance with the contract, safety plans, and regulatory requirements using 3rd party safety application.
- Ensure all incidents are reported, investigated and corrective actions are implemented to prevent a recurrence.
- Attend / lead safety meetings, safety training programs, stand downs, toolbox talks, etc. to ensure continuity of communications from the owner, construction manager, contractors to field employees.
- Develop and maintain a working relationship with the owner, owner's representative, insurance teams, site personnel, and other entities.
- Read, understand, and plan according to existing work, future work, and contract responsibilities.
- Ensure an "Always Safe, Always Ready" mindset throughout the project when interacting with all levels of management and operations and lead by example.
- Ability to identify / respond to situations where safety is being compromised and take prompt corrective action, including, stopping work and address with field supervision to remedy condition.
- Ensure corporate and project specific safety and health policies as well as federal (OSHA), state and local safety standards are being adhered to.
- Work closely with the Head of HSW, project management teams and field supervision to ensure plans are in place for complex operations.
- Anticipate project conflicts, communicate preventative action plans, and implement solutions to avoid issues.
- Other unlisted duties will be assigned.
