Job Description :

• Work a guaranteed 36 hours per week, with pay matching hours worked.
• Extremely low nurse-to-patient ratios in rural facility, ensuring quality care.
• Supportive nurse management team available.
• Duties include medication administration for 10 residents and performing skin checks.
• Opportunity to engage in focused 1 : 1 activities and outdoor garden time with residents.
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Ensure continuity of care between shifts by providing direct care and supervising care given by nursing assistants and supportive staff.
• Participate in resident and family teaching, adhering to the scope of practice.
• Maintain the role of patient advocate, emphasizing the organization's mission.
• Requires coverage during holidays.
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records system.
