Job Description: Fertility & Surgical Associates is an infertility and surgical medical office seeking a pleasant and caring Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) who is a fast-learner and has shown longevity at previous employers. Position requires someone who is a team-player and able to multi-task, work quickly, problem-solve, have good judgment with day-to-day job functions, has excellent organization, computer, typing skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and able to handle a high-demand environment. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phase testing of all complexities as defined by Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act/Amendment (CLIA) to include specialized tests and analysis in one or more areas of Andrology/Endocrine Laboratory. In Andrology: Semen Analysis, Morphological Examinations, Semen Washing for IUI and Semen Cryopreservation for future use. In Endocrinology: performs Hormone Testing, which is currently on the Beckman-Coulter Access 2. Monitor and trouble shoot any QA/QC problems. Supervision of staff within the Andrology/Endocrine Laboratory. Must be available to cover Santa Monica Office as needed.

Educational Requirements: - BA/BS degree preferred. A current and valid California State Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (CLS).
Qualifications & Experience: - Three (3 ) years recent experience as a CLS in a clinical laboratory setting. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of and to utilize the principles, theories, practices, methodologies and techniques required of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Function competently as a Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist in a high-volume Laboratory demonstrating knowledge of principles, theories, practices, techniques. Must have good communication skills and be able to solve problems. Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays. Must be available to cover all 3 locations (Santa Monica, Encino, Thousand Oaks) as needed or requested.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
