Description: Fertility & Surgical Associates is an infertility and surgical medical office seeking a pleasant and caring Medical Assistant who is a fast-learner, and has shown longevity at previous employers. Position requires someone who is a team-player and able to multi-task, work quickly, problem-solve, have good judgment with day-to-day job functions, has excellent organization, computer, and typing skills, and able to handle a high-demand environment. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, performing patient-care functions under the supervision of the physician or registered nurse, and within established scope of practice. Directs patients to proper exam and procedure rooms; prepares and instructs patients for examinations and other procedures; phlebotomy; prepares, maintains and cleans exam, treatment areas, and medical equipment; maintains logs and other records of medical procedures; orders and maintains inventory of supplies; performs clerical and other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:
- Possesses a High School Diploma
- Graduate from an Accredited Medical Assistant Program
- CPR Certification

Qualifications, Experience and Requirements:
- 1 year experience in a clinical setting or women’s health preferred
- Requires travel between our Santa Monica and Encino Office locations
- Requires CDC, HIPAA and OSHA compliance
- Computer and keyboard skilled, types 45 wpm
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Neat and professional appearance
- Work occasional weekends and holidays, as needed

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
