Paralegal

Overview:

For over 12 years FSLG has been committed to providing superior legal expertise in fertility and assisted reproduction. Our firm is looking for an experienced, highly proficient Paralegal with excellent attention to detail to join our team. This individual will assist with case management, legal research, client updates, information gathering, drafting and analyzing legal documents along with various administrative duties.

Below is a brief description of the job duties:

· New case and client intake

· Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy

· Collaborate with team members to prepare for court hearings and filings

· Draft and review legal agreements

· Provide clerical support including scheduling appointments, filing documents, and maintaining calendars.

· Case/file management (data entry, tracking and recording)

· Research Court Standard Submitting Procedures for new and current states

· Researching codes and regulations for state / insurance / random topics on the internet

· Picking up and dropping of packages to court directly and/or agency

· Run background checks

· Various Administrative tasks including but not limited to:

o Answering phones

o Copying/Scanning

o Mailing/ Packaging Prep for shipping

o Physical document inventory

· Excel spreadsheets as a data management system

· Monday.com (not required, but a plus)

Requirements:

· 4 years of law firm experience

· Bilingual in Chinese, French, or German a plus

Physical Requirements:

· The ability to lift 50lbs

· Sitting for long periods of time
