What are the responsibilities and job description for the Well Maintenance Technician position at FESCO LTD.?
We are looking for a qualified Well Maintenance Technician to join our team at FESCO LTD. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining oil and gas wells by raising and lowering downhole tools, installing and retrieving valves, and recording bottom hole pressures and temperatures.
Duties:
- Raise and lower downhole tools using a wire cable
- Operate hydraulic pumps to spool the slickline back onto the reel drum
- Monitor tension and depth of the slickline using weight indicator gauges
- Install and retrieve valves, including gas lift valves, plugs, and pressure regulators
- Record bottom hole pressures and temperatures using instruments
Working Environment: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with variable weather conditions and may be required to wear a self-contained breathing apparatus.
