Job Title: Treasury Analyst Intern
FLSA Status: Hourly
Reports To: Treasury Analyst
As a member of our Finance team, the Treasury Analyst Intern will help assist with various treasury and corporate finance activities. This position will assist with daily operations of cash management, investments, cash forecasting, and more. On a quarterly basis, the Treasury Analyst Intern will perform bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies. This position will work closely with the Finance and Accounting departments on other ad hoc projects.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the cash management strategy and support the cash forecasting process
- Support the Accounting team in the execution of quarter close
- Review daily cash and sales reports to drive accuracy
- Investigate discrepancies from internal financial reports to bank statements
- Collaborate with Finance to develop cashflow reports for management
- Review and revise current procedures and SOPs to ensure best practices
- Collaborate closely with other functional departments including Accounting, Finance, Operations, and IT
- Perform ad-hoc analyses as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 hours required
- Understanding of financial systems, processes, and enhancements
- Attention to detail with a strong technology aptitude
- Self-starter, independent thinker with high level of professionalism
- Ability to effectively manage time and complete multiple tasks, while continually meeting critical deadlines and responding to changing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time
- Bending, stretching, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. is required
- Professional presence and proper email and phone etiquette are required
WORK SCHEDULE
The Treasury Analyst Intern is an hourly position with a minimum requirement of 15 working hours per week. Some evening and/or weekend hours may be required. Travel up to 10% of the time to our Green Bay Support Office and/or store locations.
