Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, results-driven individual to oversee and optimize our channel operations across multiple online marketplaces, with a strong emphasis on Amazon.com. This role will focus on driving operational excellence, maximizing our channel opportunities, and ensuring smooth day-to-day management of our e-commerce Dealer channel activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing marketplace operations, enhancing dealer relationships, and implementing innovative strategies to drive growth and profitability across various e-commerce channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketplace Operations:
- Manage the daily operations and strategy for online marketplaces, ensuring product listings are optimized to increase visibility, traffic, and sales.
- Monitor marketplace performance metrics (sales, traffic, conversion rates, customer feedback) and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams (both internal and Dealer partners) to support inventory management and ensure ability for timely product availability and fulfillment.
- Dealer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Dealer Partners to align on strategic growth initiatives.
- Support Dealers in their marketplace performance by providing insights and best practices for improving sales and new opportunities.
- Ensure pricing, product selection, and marketing efforts are coordinated to maximize profitability and brand presence.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze marketplace data to derive actionable insights and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
- Prepare regular performance reports covering sales trends, ROI metrics, and competitive analysis.
- Use analytical findings to recommend and implement strategies for improving operations and market share.
- Brand Protection and Compliance:
- Lead efforts to protect the brand by monitoring and reporting counterfeit or unauthorized products on marketplaces.
- Collaborate with legal teams to enforce intellectual property rights and maintain brand integrity across all channels.
- Marketing Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to enhance product detail pages, brand pages, and other marketplace content aimed at improving customer experience and boosting sales.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and presentation across all e-commerce platforms and Dealer Partners.
- Stay updated on marketplace trends, policies, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, e-commerce, or a related field.
- Experience in e-commerce, sales operations, or sales, with a strong focus on managing online marketplaces like Amazon.
- Proven track record of optimizing marketplace performance and driving revenue growth.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in marketplace management tools (e.g., Amazon Seller Central) and e-commerce channels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing multiple online marketplaces and developing global e-commerce channel strategies.
- Prior experience working within a Dealer distribution network.
