Head Cook
Qualifications: Minimum of HS Diploma. Food Service experience required, with leadership experience preferred.
Rate of Pay: $14.50 per hour minimum. Pay rate dependent upon prior experience. Benefits included (Retirement, Health & Dental Insurance)
Hours: 6:00am - 1:00 pm (6.5 hours daily w/ 30 minute lunch), Monday - Friday

Duties and Responsibilities
The Duties May Include (but Are Not Limited To)
- Preparation of food following sanitary guidelines. Monitors all food production. Sanitation certificate is kept current.
- Serves students/ staff in a pleasant and efficient manner.
- Assumes responsibility for seeing to it that during meal service periods the supply of foods offered is replenished regularly.
- Assists in daily clean-up of kitchen. Performs cleaning of refrigerator, storage areas and kitchen at regularly scheduled intervals as directed by Cafeteria manager.
- Assumes responsibility for storage and reuse of unused food.
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may from time to time be assigned by manager.
- When manager is absent the head cook assumes the responsibilities of the cafeteria manager.
