Pet Care.We seek friendly, reliable, and honest individuals to walk dogs and care for dogs and cats in their owners' homes while their owners are away. We also provide our clients Almost Overnight and Overnight Care, Puppy Care, and Pet Transportation.At Fetch! (Newport, Portsmouth, Middletown, Barrington, Providence)Must own a smartphone with internet, texting, and email capabilitiesWith reliable transportation and a valid driver's licenseAbility to pass a criminal background checkAbility to attend outside promotional eventsPhysical Job Requirements : Ability to be on your feet several times a day while dog walkingAbility to visually observe people and animals from up to 150 feet awayCapable of effectively controlling the leash of all-sized dogsAbility to assess situations accurately and calmly and be able to respond quicklySkills & ExperienceVet Tech, Shelter, or Volunteer experience preferred.Ability to complete the Fetch! Pet Care training programAbility to follow safety protocols according to brand standards and trainingMust put the welfare of the animals at the forefront of all you doWilling to work Weekends and Holidays as this is when most of our services are requestedWilling to be a backup sitter as neededWilling to travel (required)Must live within the area we serviced.
