Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is looking for an efficient and detail-oriented Veterinary Medical Billing Coordinator to join our outstanding team of veterinary professionals in Ft. Myers, FL.
Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in medical or veterinary billing? At Fetch, we’re looking for a Medical Biller who brings excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of estimates and charge capture, and comfort with billing software (Mac-based systems a plus). You’ll succeed in this role if you’re a proactive team player with a solid grasp of veterinary terminology and hospital workflows—someone who can prioritize, support a busy team, and ensure accuracy and transparency for our clients.
Position Overview:
The Medical Biller plays a vital role in ensuring accurate invoicing and financial communication for both emergency and specialty patients. You’ll be responsible for auditing invoices, maintaining daily financial updates for hospitalized pets, and working closely with the team to build accurate treatment estimates. This role also involves communicating with clients about billing questions, assisting with overflow calls, training staff on estimate creation, and keeping our templates and SOPs up to date. You’ll monitor receivables, audit invoices from outside facilities, generate monthly reports, and actively participate in meetings focused on billing operations. Your work ensures both our clients and clinical teams receive the clarity and support they need.
