What are the responsibilities and job description for the Morning Pack Leader position at Fetchers Play and Stay?
Fetchers Play and Stay, a family owned, full-service dog daycare, boarding, and grooming facility in Olathe, is currently seeking a dog boarding and daycare handler to join our team!
All applicants must provide flexible schedule with morning shifts required. Availability must range between 6:15 AM and 4:30 PM.
Wages starting at $11 per hour but is negotiable based on experience!
The successful candidates will receive proper training, but previous dog care experience is a plus! Interested? Please reply to this ad with a resume attached!A Dog Handler (Fetch Team Member) needs to have the following skills:
- Energetic and outgoing
- Customer service (presenting dogs to owners, working with other staff members)
- Timeliness
- Discipline/Structure
- Background knowledge of animal care is a plus but not required
Daily Tasks Include: * Cleaning play yards
- Doing laundry, dishes, daily cleaning of the facility
- Feeding & watering dogs
- Cleaning up dog waste
- Monitoring dogs in play yards at all times
- Maintaining a daily checklist of tasks in and out of play yards
You must be able to: * Handle all sizes of dogs, lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand long periods, kneel & bend
- Be outgoing & possess a good sense of self-worth
- Independent hard worker and be motivated
- Must have RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
