The pay range for this woodworking position depends on experience and skills but starts at anywhere from $16-$23/hr. We also offer our valued full-time employees fantastic benefits, including medical, dental, & vision plans. Key Responsibilities
Assembly Woodworker
- Read and interpret drawings/cut list
- Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, and shaping wood stock to meet project specifications.
- Assemble components into finished products using hand tools
- Set up and operate woodworking machines (power saws, molders, shapers)
- Apply various joinery techniques (dowels, pocket screws, biscuits)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all tools and machines are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained after use.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure that assembly processes meet production schedules and project timelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the assembly process, including identifying defects and making necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory safety standards.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least one year of experience in casework assembly (preferred but not required)
- Ability to read and interpret documents, instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Passion for hands-on work with wood
- Tolerance to vibration, noise, and temperature variations
- Commitment to lean manufacturing practices
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and self-motivation skills
Work Schedule
The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
